Follow those simple steps to check through Google Maps where bear incidences have been recorded in Japan :1) Launch the app and (optionally) share your location.2) Confirm bear incidences through bear marker on the map.
Small bears indicate children, big bears indicate adults, small and big together indicate an adult and child.
A heart mark indicates someone was hurt.
A broken glass mark indicates property damage happened.
The + mark indicates at least 2 bears confirmed at the same time.
The warning mark indicates a recent incidence.3) You can tap the icon to open a panel with more info on the incidences.4) Finally, you can also filter by date and region.
Note that downloading data that way may take a couple seconds.
